WELCOME!  Minarets Pack Station is pleased to be putting on a Dutch oven cooking class seminar for guests.  Come spend the 2-night weekend with us in our glamping tents and eat some delicious Dutch oven made foods.  All Dutch ovens, food ingredients, recipes, tools and instruction will be provided for your use.  This will be a hands-on experience.  Take home your recipes and knowledge of a primitive way of cooking used in many countries including the United States when the West was won.

*Arrive - Meet your Hosts, then go get settled into a glamping tent of your choice.

*At 5:00pm- Come to the MPS Lodge for a meet and greet.  Then your hands-on instruction will begin while making your first Dutch oven dinner.  

-Hawaiian Chicken Breast over Rice-

Saturday Morning, 6:30am to 7:00am- Come to the lodge for Coffee and the day's instruction.  

7:30am- Breakfast preparations begin for a real cowboy breakfast. Enjoy!

-Dutch oven Biscuits and Gravy with Bacon and Southwestern Eggs-

After breakfast clean up.  Take an afternoon hike around Miller Meadow and you'll be back in time for lunch:  Cowboy Tri-tip sandwiches, chips and iced tea.

For dinner you'll be making:

-BBQ Ribs, Steakhouse Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Gravy with a Side Salad and homemade Ranch Dressing-

-Your hands-on instruction for Dessert will be making:

Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler with a side of Vanilla Ice Cream-

After Dinner you can relax and enjoy your evening on a full stomach.

Sunday Morning Coffee is at 7:00am

We make you breakfast to set you right for your trip down the mountain. 

You'll be taking with you a Minarets Pack Station Dutch Oven Cooking apron, the recipes you've prepared, and the skill and technique you learned over the past two days.
